- Definite article the কোনো নির্দিষ্ট বা পরিচিত singular কিংবা plural noun-এর আগে বসে।

- a ও an বাছাই করতে বানানের প্রথম অক্ষর নয়, শব্দের শুরুর sound লক্ষ্য করতে হয়।

- Article noun-এর আগে বসে noun-টি নির্দিষ্ট কি না তা বোঝায়।
