Course: English for Today Class Seven

একটি ১২–১৫ বাক্যের বাংলা রচনার অনুরোধ অনুযায়ী, Unit One: Attention, Please সম্পর্কে নিচে একটি সংক্ষিপ্ত রচনা দিলাম। Unit One: Attention, Please ধারাবাহিকতায় আমরা প্রথমে শ্রদ্ধা ও মনোযোগ দিয়ে শ্রবণ ও বুঝতে শেখব। এতে নির্দেশনা, অনুরোধ ও ঘোষণাগুলো কেমন শুনতে হয় ও তাকে কীভাবে কার্যকরভাবে মেনে চলতে হয় তা শেখানো হবে। শেখার্থীরা শেখে কিভাবে সঠিক সুর, উচ্চারণ ও চাপ ব্যবহার করতে হয়। এর মাধ্যমে তারা প্রশ্ন জিজ্ঞাসা করা ও উত্তর দেওয়ার দক্ষতা লাভ করবে। UNIT One-এ Learning Outcomes-এ নির্দেশনা অনুসরণ, Sounds–Stress–Intonation বোঝা ও প্রশ্নোত্তর দক্ষতা অর্জনের ওপর জোর দেওয়া হয়। ক্লাসে কথ্য ও শ্রবণ-চর্চার মাধ্যমে ভাষা-চর্চা আরও কার্যকর হয়। Lesson 1-এ In the Classroom থেকে শুরু করে Lesson 7: At a Railway Station পর্যন্ত বৈচিত্র্যময় উপাদান শেখানো হয়, যেমন স্কুলে পাঠদান, বাইরে জানাশোনা, বাজার ও রেস্টুরেন্টে কথাবার্তা। এতে প্রতিটি পাঠে ছাত্ররা স্বতঃস्फূর্তভাবে ইংরেজি ব্যবহার করতে শেখে—সংলাপ অনুকরণ, ডায়ালগ লেখা ও প্রশ্ন-উত্তর অনুশীলন। এতে শিশুদের ভাষা-চর্চায় পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতার মূল্যও জোর পাওয়া উচিত। Unit One-এ Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing—সব কটি দক্ষতা সমন্বয়ে একটি সামগ্রিক ভাষা-আর্চন ধাপে ধাপে গড়ে তোলা হয়। শেষে ছাত্ররা প্রতিটি পরিস্থিতিতে নরম শিষ্টাচার ও সুসংহত কথোপকথনের চর্চা করতে পারে। এই unit-এর শেষে মনে রাখা যেন প্রয়োজন যে, English-এ Instructions মানা, Announcement ঠিক বোধ করা ও English-এ কথা বলা—সবই একটি কার্যকর communicative competence গড়ে তোলে। তাই Unit One আমরা যেন সুষমভাবে Learner-কে আত্মবিশ্বাসী ও স্পষ্ট বোধসম্পন্ন করে তুলতে পারি। এখন আপনি Unit One-র জন্য স্পেসিফিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়-স্তরের HTML lecture sheet চাচ্ছেন, তাই নিচে semantic HTML-এ compact layout ও Q&A সহ একটি structured lecture sheet দেওয়া হলো।

Conceptual Explanation

এই ইউনিটে শিক্ষার্থীরা শ্রবণ-ধারণ ও কথাবার্তার মৌলিক দক্ষতা অনুশীলন করবে। পাঠগুলোতে নির্দেশনা কিভাবে বোঝা যায়, অনুরোধ কেমনভাবে করা হয়, ও ঘোষণাগুলো কার্যকরভাবে কীভাবে প্রয়োগ হয় তা শেখানো হবে। Sounds, stress ও intonation-এর কার্যকর ব্যবহার যোগ করলে কথা বলা আরও প্রাঞ্জল হয়, অর্থাৎ meaning পর্যন্ত স্পষ্ট হয়। Classroom, Outside School, In the House, ও Street-এ Conversations ও dialogues-ভিত্তিক অনুশীলন student-দের নৈতিক ও礼貌-based আচরণ শেখায়।

Important Notes

• Listening ও speaking অবশ্যই প্রায়োরিটি-ভিত্তিতে হবে; English-এ আত্মবিশ্বাসে কথা বলা ও বন্ধু/সহপাঠীর সাথে কথা বলা অনুপ্রাণিত করা হবে।
• Politeness, “Excuse me”, “Please”, ও “Thank you” মতো ফর্ম-চিন্তা শেখাবার চেষ্টা করা হবে।
• Lesson-ভিত্তিক activities-এ dialogues act out ও role-play বেশি encouragement পাওয়া উচিত।
